Easy on the eyes and ears

I'm an A.M. talk radio listener and have searched for years for a good radio that will pick up the local station in my area. Have tried and failed with many models. This one has no problem picking up the signal and the sound quality is very good, clear. The wood case is lovely. I'm not wild about the "NEW FM/AM 2 BANDS RECEIVER" label on the front of the radio, but can live with that.
