Nice device
The device is a thermostat and a pretty compact one. I docked a star for the instructions, but the device is pretty good. There's plenty of wiring guides on the internet, the main thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't source power out the relay, it only connects power through the relay from one terminal to the next. So you can even control DC devices if you wanted, as long as you stay less than ten amps.

Looks and feels sturdy, the throat passage is small
This is a great plate but I dinged a star because couldn't use it for the recent routing job I bought it for because it has a small throat. It's about 1 3/16" and the rabbet bit I was using was a tiny bit larger. The plastic feels pretty solid, I would suggest looking for a third party one that's clear so it's easier to see the work piece.
