Works great!
There is absolutely no need to spend $20 - $30 on an external HDD enclosure when this unit works just as well. I am using it with a spare 240 GB PNY SSD that I have, and it works perfectly.

Item not UL listed.
I needed a new AC power adapter / charger for my Gateway NV52 laptop, so I purchased this item from the PWR+ eBay store vs purchasing the item from the PWR+ website. The exact same item is sold by PWR+ on both websites, however, the item was $5.00 cheaper on eBay. I emailed PWR+ and asked if the two items were different. I received a reply from a PWR+ employee stating that the items were exactly the same, so I ordered the eBay item to save the $5.00. Then I received a second reply from a different PWR+ employee stating that the items sold on eBay are not UL listed / certified, and that only the items sold on the PWR+ website are in fact UL listed / certified. Most retailers today will not even carry a product if it is not UL listed / certified. I have worked as an electrician since 1973, so I know the importance of the UL listing / certification. While the AC power adapter / charger is working fine with my laptop, and I have had no problems with it so far, it is my opinion that the eBay listing should have specifically stated that the item was not UL listed / certified. In all honestly, I am shocked that this company would take the risk of selling the non-UL listed / certified items, even on eBay.

Nice laptop!
I bought this laptop on Ebay for my sister. She had an old HP Windows XP tower with less than 1GB of RAM, and it took forever to load web pages. This HP ProBook is very well made and has Windows 7-64 bit on it. It works about a thousand times better with it's 4GB of RAM and fast processor. I am going to upgrade her RAM to 8GB to make it even better.
