SKB Cases Hard Plastic Roto Sunday Golf Club Airline Travel Case (Open Box)

i like it

i got the SKB hard case seeking two attributes: smaller size and better protection of the clubs than your usual golf bag cases. In my opinion, SKB delivers both. it is physically much smaller than your usual case but also importantly is visually much smaller and that has saved me the surcharge airlines charge for oversized luggage. (United Airlines charges $200 for oversized luggage defined as anything larger than 62 linear inches. (The SKB case is about 66 LI but I've not been charged. Attendants don't even bother to measure. I attribute that to SKB's small visual appearance.) Protection is clearly better than fabric based cases. The metal pieces joining the top cover and the main compartment can be beefier, but they seem strong enough for the job. There is no room to hold extra accessories but I knew that going in. The case has delivered what i was looking for.
