Their photo shows no logo, but mine had a logo imprinted on the flap. But the main thing is that the material seems a bit thin & way to big.

I will buy more
I have about 4 of these. Although they are an older version of heater, I like them because of their low profile (I can put them under a chair when I watch a movie, or around me somewhere if I am going to be sitting awhile. They put out alot of heat and have 2 speeds and a temp control. I keep them "strategically" placed throughout my basement office where the temp is somewhat lower than the upstairs floors. While it may not be the only heater to buy, it is the model that I first started buying a number of years ago and I will stay with them.

Carl Bidex RT-218
I have been looking at various rotary cutters to do deckle edging on paper. Finally got a deal on a Carl Bidex RT-218, which is an 18" cutter. I read reviews and did the best analyzation I could do without physically having one in front of me to test. I noticed that the Carl brand had a hexagon in the center of each blade. I thought this meant that it would be geared somehow on the track to allow for going back over the same spot with exact repeatability. Even on the Bidex website, it tells you to go both directions with the rotary to make your cut. With a straight blade, this is possible. With a decorative blade, there is no mechanism to keep the cut in the same place as with the first pass. In other words, it doesn't cut in the same place and you end up with lots and lots of little paper scraps that were part of your edge but got cut because the blade free turned and didn't turn within the confines of a mechanism. Other than that, the RT-218 hold down bar is loose and sways, which means that your cut also can sway. Not at all accurate. As far as cutting goes, it says it can do 10 sheets at a time, but I have found that even 3 sheets requires a few passes and lots of pressure. All in all the cutter does work, but not near as well as anticipated. I may try another brand.
BTW, the unit I received had a broken door on the bottom of the wear strip - right out of the clamshell packaging, this thing was broke. I called Bides who claims a 100% warranty and left 3 messages on three different days. Still haven't received a call back! So much for their customer service. I did however use their on-line help center and low and behold, there was an operator on the other end who did respond to me. That person said they would send the part out to me. Without that little door, the wear strip slides out the bottom when you are applying pressure and rotary'ing towards yourself. So it is important. Looks like a bad molding. We will see if they actually do send the part.
All in all, I would look somewhere else for a rotary trimmer.
