BEST GLUE FOR REPLACING RHINESTONES IN VINTAGE JEWELRY
I sell good condition vintage jewelry. There is one problem with it though. During delivery & transit the decades old glue can contract & expand due to so many different temperature changes & loosens the stones. I use the glue myself to replace stones in pieces that I buy to sell & recommend it to my buyers to always have a tube on hand for replacing them. I have tried others & there is none better than Hypo-Cement. It has a needle tip that contro;s the amount of glue & the glue dries so clear you cannot ever tell it was used if it is done right. If too much glue overfflows it must be wiped right away with q-tips dipped in acetone nail polish remover. If it hardens it can turn to a opaque white. It that happens then do this. Soak the entire piece in acetone & the hardened glue will come off with toothpicks. The acetone will not harm the gold tone or silver tone finish. Careful bending the prongs back so they do not break off and apply glue down inside the setting. The pointed back stones wll not lay right in the setting unless the prongs are out of the way. They will be set in crooked. After an hour check to see if the stone is glued enough then carefully push the prongs back with the end of a plastic knife or a non abasive tool. Closing the glue is tricky. Make sure all excess glue is wiped off with the acetone. : ) LindaLee

Avons 24 hr. Deodorant.
No other deodorant keeps me dry from shower to shower like Avons 24 hr deodorant. It comes in different and for those with allergies it also comes unscented.
