Excellent value in a wildlife binocular
3 of 3 found this helpful Received my pair of the Leica Trinovids.. Selected these over the Leica Ultravid due to the better close focus these have. The feel very solid and they are very bright. Hand fit is good for my medium hands. They have a very odd strap that also serves as a wraparound case. Although it feels good when around my neck I would have preferred it to come with a standard case/pouch. I've used a wide variety of binoculars both for work (I'm a field biologist) and for nature viewing much of it under adverse conditions both in cold and tropical climes. While these are not top of the line Swarovskis they are very good and about $2000.00 less. Initial indications are that they will serve me well hopefully for a number of years.
