Best Hand-Held Soldering Iron
2 of 2 found this helpful I needed a bigger soldering iron for my Lithium batteries that I upgrade frequently. I needed an Iron that heats up quickly and goes to extremely hot in seconds and this fit the bill perfectly. I read the reviews for the old 35-45 year old Wellers (the best in hand-held irons), they boasted "how solid those old models felt in-hand" Since I like new stuff I bought this instead! Don't waste your time on an old tool, buy the newest instead! It has 3-LED lights that light-up work areas extremely well. And a solid but light Nylon shell (not heavy Bakelite) and a new cord with safe insulation on it! It's a double insulated tool so no need for a ground.
