Mobile Aid to the Rescue: Fits through Narrow Doorways
1 of 1 found this helpful The doorway to the bathroom of many older homes is only 27.25” wide, even though the hallway & bedroom doorways are 31” wide. A Godsend has this wheelchair been for my dear friend, who wheels his to his bathtub to rely on grab bars for his shower, in addition to, of course, this wheelchair with ample washable towels across the seat such that he may then return to his bedroom rather than the emergency room of a hospital, since he is conscious and able to tend to numerous daily tasks.
How happy I am that I measured the doorways and confirmed the open-chair width before ordering one of these and before bringing my friend home from a nursing home & hospital where he’d been on an IV, and had not been ambulatory for 1.5 months.
Although as this chair has been used and the tires knocked into corners, I’ve needed to use a strong cord to tie to its frame the chair’s rubber tire that was dislocated & disabling the brake connector, after which I utilized several skrew drivers to reset the tire into its frame, this wheelchair has been a Godsend. Towels may be tucked in across the seat to maintain a hygienic condition, & of course, I clean the seat with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
This wheelchair is easy to maintain, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Satisfying Nutrients
Once I acquired brewer’s yeast at Country Sun in Palo Alto; afterwards, I purchased what was available in health food stores on Telegraph Ave and Shattuck Ave in Berkeley. Now I’ve relied on this source that I currently recommend. It is a food that is nourishing is satisfying; thus, I add one or two tablespoons to each loaf of bread that I’m preparing. Of course, I highly recommend this Brewer’s Yeast.
