Practicing everyday purchases...
I bought these coins for my classroom of developmentally disabled adults to practice adding amounts for independent everyday purchases. They are perfect for this purpose. There's plenty of different denominations for each individual life skill.

a rare hotrod VW with expensive replacement parts
1 of 1 found this helpful I would give this vehicle an overall 5 out of 5 but the average motorist should not consider this car as an option. The Corrado is a quirky vehicle in that it has expected electrical failures that the owner usually simply chooses to deal with and drive in spite of the imperfections. To buy one pre-owned is taking a chance on reliability for there are two types of V.W. owners: those who take care of their cars and have extensive service records and those who can't keep their right foot off the 'stupid pedal' and redline the tach at every startup.
My purchase was a good one. The previous owner had taken care of it and explained to me all he knew of its few problems. Since my purchase I have had to rebuild the alternator...not too expensive nor time consuming, but instantly demanding of attention.
Reliability is up to the driver. If you want it to last, you have to lay off the accelerator from time to time. With this in mind, I would not recommend this to be any 16 year olds first car. I would recommend the driver be mechanically inclined and know when problems arise and how to address them immediately. The parts can be rare and very expensive, not to mention the car was only around for 5 years so most V.W. mechanics have erased them from their memory.
I plan to park mine for a few months out of the year while I drive my more reliable and trustworthy 'built' 76 Scirocco. As with any used car: 'buyer beware'. Without a test drive you never know what to expect. Hopefully your seller will be as honest and helpful as mine was. 'Drivers Wanted'.

Fun, quality piece of WWII history.
1 of 1 found this helpful I enjoy shooting this BB gun thirty automatic shots at a time. Having fired the real thing before, I can tell you that this thing is not far from the feel of a vintage Thompson submachine gun. It's weight is similar and the quality construction does not disappoint. It's a fun little piece of WWII history. I purchased a replica three point strap to go with it, and I keep it in the original box in my garage to shoot at cans in between projects. Get it, and have fun.
