Decent Little Set
4 of 5 found this helpful I have owned many tabletop TV sets and all of them are not as convenient to use as a full size set. I accept that limitation in order to get the space-saving size. This set has better sensitivity than its predecessors and receives all of the stations I want. As with others of its class the position of the antenna is critical and it can end up in some rather odd places. I was fortunate to get the long 33" antenna (some of these sets came with a short remote antenna). The magnetic base antenna is unstable on non-ferrous surfaces so I made an add-on base by gluing a 1.25" steel washer to the bottom of an inverted 2.5" glass dish. The tiny remote is overcrowded with 44 buttons (!) so I blacked out 14 of them black tape. The colored tapes help me find the most useful buttons. (Scotch plastic tape) I ignored the supplied swivel base and got a $2 plate holder from a hardware store to support the set. I don't see how any tiny set can get 4 or 5 stars, but I am satisfied overall with this one.
