Replace my FLIMSY VR9
I contacted VIZIO about this remote. My TV came with the VR9. It never worked very will and literally fell apart. This unit seemed to have the same functionality and VIZIO support told me it should work although it may have some buttons which are for features my TV doesn't have. I'm happy to say that was very accurate. This unit is a little bigger, better built, has the IR unit forward enough that I don't have to point directly at the TV, and all buttons do exactly what is expected. Good product.

Plenty of light for not much cost
Panel provides a bright and somewhat focused light. Not as broad a flood as I had hoped but a lens modification fixed that for my use. Great light for projects. I used this to replace the auto 1003 bulb on the porch of my RV and it is a significant improvment.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit. 6000K is blue-white. Incandescents are about 2500-3000K and are more yellow.
