Great little Fish Finder!
2 of 2 found this helpful I researched castable Fish finders for a while and kept coming back to the Deeper product. It had many positive reviews on multiple websites as well as YouTube. The positive reviews convinced me that this was the best product for me. I purchased the Deeper Fish finder from Ebay as the price with shipping was the best that I could find.
I used the Deeper the day it arrived. I have a fairly large Beaver pond in my back yard so took the opportunity to try the Deeper out. I charged it prior to using it, went to he pond and dropped it in. It sync'd with my HTC smartphone with no issues. I cast it out in to the pond and it immediately started sending depth, bottom contour and water temperature data to my smart phone. Oh! BTW, the app is really intuitive and easy to setup and change settings.
In summary, this is a great product and provides the needed information for a fraction of the cost of hard wired fixed mount units. It lives in my fishing backpack and I have used it on many occasions to map lake bottoms and locate fish.
