I am into hunting and camping and miss the mountains and woods up north. I like motorcycles and the freedom that you feel when riding. I served during the Vietnam era and enjoyed Southeast Asia. I still like Vietnamese and Cambodian food and we'll make dishes at home. you will not find me in a McDonald's馃く
Wow am i impressed. Scanning and croping used to take 45 seconds on the HP 1210 all in one but this gives me the preview in less than 3 seconds, almost 4 times as fast. The actual scan from there is again 30 to 40 percent faster. Now for the paper handling of envelopes and card stock and we have a knock out one two three punch. I have two HP's, one being an old 810C and that is pretty good for printing day to day and some color printing but it's not photographic quality although it's a bit cheaper in the ink department, and then there is the 1210. Still basic printing and scanning but again not photographic quality. The Canon is much better and the inks don't fade like the HP's. I put a picture on the wall in a vestibule and after 3 years it was a bit sad looking so replacing it with a new print from the Canon that should hold for over 30 years from what I have heard about this ink. Printers are cheap in this under $80 area and using the featured Multimedia slots is a welcome bonus. Took my memory card out of my camera and in a few seconds had it transfered to the PC. Alternatively you can print directly but I always like to do some editing before I print and haven't used that feature. Next thing I plan to test is the borderless printing of a family photo on high grade photo paper that just arrived. Based on the draft mode on plain recycled paper that came out so nice I have little doubt that this will be superb.

Scorpio Sata Drives
In general these are good drives. What you should know is that they come in different flavors. Just like a Chevy Camero could have a six cylinder or 2 different sizes of a V8, so the same is true with these Scorpio Drives. It does not matter for general purpose use which you buy but if you are into better performance you should check out the specifications on WD's website. This model is rated at 150 mbs and has an 8 meg buffer. There are also drives with just a 2 meg buffer. The Scorpio BLUE is the faster SATA (II) drive at 300 mbs. So if your working on large files and moving a lot of data, this is the way to go. For the average user, it would be a waste to go with the faster transfer speed.
Web browsing, email and spreadsheets have no need for performance but real-time gaming is another story.
I have 2 drives, One [the slow one] is running Vista Ultimate on a Dell Latitude with 4 Gigs of ram. The other drive has XP Pro. Lots of ram makes the difference. 2 Gigs is the minimum to make things work well. With only 1 gig, there is a lot of swap file activity and that is ok for spreadsheets and word processing but heavy Web applications get jittery. Small drives are fine unless you want to load up lots of videos. For video a high speed drive is recommended.

Awesome Nokia
Some times you get a feel for something and it's good. The Nokia line of phones is like that for the most part. I have had other brands and some are ok while others are worthless. The 6133 is pretty nice but I do have some gripes. The chrome bezel around the camera lens rubs off where it makes contact during the opening and closing, the connector for the headset at the top is hard to get at under it's flap and is a pain with the case over the phone so often I remove the cover if I want to use the fm radio. The sound quality is great on speaker phone mode but a bit low on the earphone in a noisy environment. The battery life is pretty good but some batteries don't seem to last as long as others. I bought 2 spares and have 3 batteries of which 1 is junk and the others are variable in quality. Bluetooth works good and customizing ring tones, wallpaper and softtouch buttons is the best I've had.
I like this well enough for the fact that Nokia phones usually have better signal strength that many other brands, so bought one for my Dad.
If you like the flip styles, you will probably like the 6133.
