Good build quality and sound quality, but a little too much bass
Good quality sound for this size of speaker; as usual a bit too basey, but that's expected with Bose

Crisp sound, solid build, wide array of connectivity options that work
I'm not an audiophile, so I can't speak to the tiny details, but the sound from these is cleaner, particularly in the treble, than all of the other med-high end computer speakers I've had in my life. Rather than hearing the pitch of the guitar strum, you can actually hear the action of the pick or finger or nail, creating a more life-like experience.
I mostly use my speakers on the quiet range, and these perform well on the low end of their power range.
The colored LED source indicator is a nice, not-too-bright touch, and the volume knob's stepped resistance to turning is notable and feels good to turn.
