Two Solid Sci-Fi B Movies on 1 Disc
Pretty good Sci-Fi B movie double feature. Gotta keep in mind when these were made and not expect an awful lot in the special effects department. The monster in "It! The Terror" is about as menacing as a man in a rubber monster suit can be. The Monster That "Challenged The World" actually only challenges a few canals in Southern California but it does manage a few good scares. The transfers are nice and clean. At the moment you can find this double feature on DVD for $15 - $20, so that's a much better value than the blurays with a single movie for $20 - &25 each.

Doesn't Work For DVD to TV hookup!
2 of 2 found this helpful Connected HDMI "out" from DVD player to Composite "in" on TV set - should work, but TV does not detect any incoming signal. May or may not work from cable box to TV, didn't try that because that's not why I bought the thing. Per other reviewers, I suspect that a converter box of some sort is required. Nothing obviously defective - quality looks fine.

Bad All The Way Around
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a terrible print of a terrible movie. I actually threw it away after I watched it. Listening to the painful dialogue, it seem that someone actually hired a scientific consultant, but then tied him up and left him in a closet until the movie was completed. Poor Scott Brady! A respected B movie actor in the 50's, obviously had fallen on hard times by 1967. Rent it if you insist on watching it. It's not worth the shipping & handling associated with buying it.
