Wera 967/9 TX BO 1 SB Security TORX® L-Key Set 9 Pieces 05073599001

Short, but high quality
I have a set of Wera L hex keys that are quite long and I expected these to be similar in length. They are actually quite a bit shorter, but still solid and high quality.

WTB EXPOSURE ROAD BIKE TIRE TCS (Tubeless compatible) 700 X 30C (MSRP $79.90)
Oct 24, 2019
Great tubeless road tire, not the most durable
This is a solid choice for a tubeless road tire. It has great traction and rolls smooth and fast. Setup: It's not as easy to mount as road plus or MTB tires, but it's not too bad as long as you are patient and ensure the bead is in the center of the rim all the way around as you're getting the last bit mounted. These tires seal up and pop into place pretty easily. It might be doable with a pump, but I typically use an airshot canister, and you really don't need more than 60psi in it. After that blast, just keep pumping up to 55-60 psi and it'll definitely be mounted. Even without sealant it holds air really well, but definitely still use it :). Ride: Hard to complain. I typically run them at 55-ish psi (me + bike ~ 170 lbs) and they are definitely comfortable and fast. I've even run them closer to 40 by accident and I hardly noticed. Quite grippy: I'm sure my confidence and lack of fearlessness is the biggest thing slowing me down in corners, certainly not the tire. Durability: This is probably the only black spot for this tire. I think they do puncture easily, but they can also be salvaged afterwards. I got a full nail through the tire once and the sealant wouldn't plug the hole in the moment, but I remounted it with fresh sealant a couple of days later and it sealed up just fine (I'm still riding on that tire). One thing to keep an eye out for is what looks like an aneurysm on the surface of the tire. I had this happen on one after nearly 1800 miles on it, where it looks like just the outer layer of rubber delaminated somehow and was bulging out. It's pretty easy to see. It still rides ok (I wouldn't trust it long term), but fortunately WTB has said that is a valid warranty replacement. YMMV depending on your proof-of-purchase situation.
