Great replacement part, if you're willing to do some work

I'm a long time Thinkpad user and have taken several apart to replace various components but this needed a complete teardown of my T420. If I had known that in advance, I might have decided to live with my intermittent power jack :-)

Great microUSB connectors

We're always losing cables and I need to keep a buffer stock handy. I like these because the microUSB connectors snap into the device and hold in really well compared to no-name brands.

Fast and hackable

It can be hacked to bypass the software based throttling imposed by the firmware and be recognized as a Netgear R6300v2 which is an AC1750 router. Or you can install alternative firmware such as dd-wrt or Tomato directly and have it become an AC1750 router. Unbeatable deal at this price.
