It's got that FEEL GOOD lens quality.
I'm not a specs guy, so I go by how a lens reproduces the scene I want to capture, and while this is technically an entry level lens, it feels good, looks good on my X-E3, and captures sharp images with sufficient AF speed. If you want a more professional lens, go for the XF line, but if you want value and quality, this is the lens for you.

Fantastic Camera for the value!
While the lens may not have the famous ZEISS name attached to it, the SONY G heritage is alive and well in this little 14 megapixel pocketable powerhouse. Crisp, Clean images, and all for a great value nowadays.
