I can't think of a better name

This is a movie made a long time ago, it had lots of controversity. It has great actors and is a really tough (good) movie. NOT for kids! City guys in the country fighing the elements and a bad encounter with some bad locals.

Base on true story: The teaching of a blind /deaf girl thought unteachable.

I love this movie, I have seen it in the past and wanted my grandchildren to see it. It's based on a true story about a young blind / deaf girl who had left to do as she please because her family thought her to dumb to learn. So so good!
