Not really what I expected, but nice looking model.
Although I've wanted to buy this kit since it came out a few years ago, looking at the sprues, other than the ones with the AFV Club logo, tells me it looks like a joint effort on AFV's part. Most of the sprues are very nicely detailed but some lack the finesse of AFV plastic.
They look more like Trumpeter's latest offerings with the yellowish plastic. To say I'm a little disappointed is true but I think it will turn out nice with a little TLC , especially since the 88mm gun sprue by AFV Club is very nice, it even comes with the corrected muzzel break with the side cut-outs. The tracks are typical AFV Club bands.
The interior is very accurate for this tank destroyer but maybe Tamiya's would've been better in the end with its simplier engineering, plus Tamiya includes a nice crew.
In the end I still would recomment this kit as I like the extra detail effort AFV puts in their kits, band tracks are not a deal breaker for me either.
Highly recommended even though it seems like really two manufacturers in one.

Very good rendition of Germany's famous tank destroyer.
Tamiya's Nashorn (pronounced Naz...Horn) is a very nice kit with the usual Tamiya engineering and quality. They also include some nice crew figures, which most manufacturers do not do. The kit molds are very nice with some cool details here and there. A let down for me is the rubber band tracks, although they have decent detail. The inclusion of poly caps is a great idea for the suspension wheels and the gun elevation area. Most internal/gun details seem to be present but the internal gun travel lock is not included, which is true on AFV Club and Dragon Nashorns. However, this could be added without too much trouble from scratch or brass etc.
Overall I give this one a top rating, especially with the gun crew included.

Nice kit that is a little dated now (2021).
A nice kit overall from Tristar, but adding to the box title "Interior" is mis-leading but doesn't diminish what is included. When Tristar was still in business, they made excellent kits in their day, some better than what Dragon had to offer and unigue. Their sprues were bought out by Hobby Boss so it's great they are re-boxing Tristar's plastic.
The plastic is kinda fragile, so you have to be careful handling it. The suspension sprues are from their Panzer IV suspension sets. The numbering of the bogies per side, is kinda mis-leading but easy enough to figure what side of the hull they go to. The rubber for the road wheels is actual rubber but I prefer plastic for these. Assembly is standard fare for these Pz IV kits and it includes the early muffler with the plate covering the top of it. There is a correction sheet included for the placement of the Drive housing covers which protect the exposed part of those covers. Nicely detailed gun and mount and everything else is included to render a nice early "Brummbar".
Enough detail for the interior is included to make the kit stand out from some others, but there is room to add an engine and tranny if you like. Three paint schemes are included in black and white, unlike today's kits which generally include color profiles.
Eight out of ten for this nice kit overall.
