Miracle liquid..

My vintageTechnic turntable's pitch control was inconsistent. Wouldn't hold speed. Couple squirts of DeoxIT and it smoothed out instantly. Didn't even have to take it apart. Just sprayed under dial. Amazing stuff. Going to use it on an old KLH Model 24, see if it will bring it back to life.

Ortofon 2M Red Plug and Play Phono Turntable Hardshell Cartridge with Stylus

Not a great package

First, I would say dont buy the combo. The headshell may be plug n play, requiring no alignment but its very heavy. I couldnt counter the weight ( technics sl1900 table). I was not very impressed with the sound of the cartridge with the included headshell. I put cartridge on a Technics shell and got the weight down where it should be. Sound improved, but its not as good as my ff15xe mkll. (Probably should've just bought a replacement stylus for that. I may still do that if the sound doesnt improve. I'll give it some break in time.) If you are interested in buying this cartridge, just buy the cartridge alone. Headshell is terrible.
