Bare minimum to get job done as quick as possible.
3 of 3 found this helpful Lightweight; does cut thru light to medium grass but struggles thru thicker and wastes a lot of battery power and string to do job I want. String does not usually advance "automatically" so I have to stop and manually take off spool and advance string by hand. Blower minimally does the job as stated and you can literally feel loseing power quickly and slowing down as battery weakens. Both the trimmer and blower are at optimum only for a few moments after batteries have been fully charged, but weaken quickly and I feel fortunate if I am able to get all the way around 1800 sq. ft. home trimming and then clearng debris completely without both batteries conking out. Would only recommend for smaller property and even lighter duty work. Had I known what I know know, would have been willing to spend twice as much for stonger, longer lasting power.
