So the 4 I had to cull were “covered” I stand by my negative feedback on condition of packaging alone. Not to forget to mention the many cracks. Snails arrived in HORRIBLE CONDITIONS! They were packed in only tissue paper without any food or moisture. Many were eating through the box, and 4 were alive but had severely smashed shells, with some organs outside. Half of the others had cracked shells and may not survive. As far as food and water, it would be difficult to send without making a bigger mess than they make normally with slime and snail excrement (which is unpreventable in the first place) no matter what they will chew through most cushion material because it’s what they do. Been shipping successfully@10yrs this way, rarely is there problem
