Honda VTX 1800 C
15 of 15 found this helpful purchased a used 2003 vtx 1800 a couple of months ago and after 1000 miles I can find little fault with the bike. Was a little apprehensive about riding a bike that weighed 750 + but frankly beside pushing it out of the garage in the morning I really can't say I notice the size after it gets rolling. I had several sport bikes b/f I purchased this bike but had little adjustment period- foot placement took sometime to get used to and you can't take turns very hard as foot pegs will scrape. the only other complaint is the seat on the C model- I don't know if the other models have similar seats but after about 1/2 hour you definitely start feeling the "burn". I have heard of other same complaints and I thought it was silly hearing this and that it was something you just had to get used to. Will look for new seat. Overall, I am very pleased with fit and finish of the bike. More power that any human needs but it is sure fun to open the bike up now and then!!
