Disappointed

Great little stylish kettle
Excellent value for money. I've been using this for 2 weeks now.
The kettle was smelly at the beginning, even after washing it first. Then I realised it's the plastic bits that were smelling funny so I gave it a proper wash outside as well and inside the lid. After about 3-4 uses the smell was gone!
It is just as easy to use as my previous kettle. The only difference is that now I always empty the excess water and let it completely dry out when not in use - to avoid limescale build up.
Be aware that the lid only opens/closes properly if you pull the 'lid trigger' towards the handle.
I'd highly recommend this kettle.
