Great Pre-Pay Phone
2 of 2 found this helpful UPDATE (Jan 2017): I wrote the original review below in 2011. I loved it then and I still LOVE it. I can't imagine any cellphone being so reliable and durable. I'm amazed that I haven't changed the battery and it still lasts weeks before needing a charge.
Original review (Nov 2011): I bought this phone to replace a Samsung I got when I started Verizon Pre-Pay service a couple years ago. This LG beats the Samsung in every way. I especially like the longer battery life. It is also good that pressing any outside buttons while phone is closed does not impact the phone at all. I can open this LG with gloves on; whereas I couldn't open the Samsung even with bare hands without much trouble. One note, I did not get the $10 free air time, probably because I did not sign up as a new customer, but merely changed phones.

Enjoyable trip
I like romantic comedy movies. Serendipity is a good representative of the genre. It is a little too much unbelievable with the thought of things being pre-destined; or, if they are meant to be, they will happen. Still, it's an enjoyable trip getting the two stars together.

So-So
I bought this portable to listen to FM while doing outdoor work projects. I got tired using a manual tune radio that drifted off station frequently. This digital tuning radio fixes that problem and stays right on frequency. However, it has reception problems. My favorite station is a long distance and this radio struggles bringing it in. Of my five portable radios, this one receives worst. I struggle to find a physical place to set it and hear the station. Even when I find a spot that seems OK, reception goes bad when I move away, plus my body movement causes reception variances. Most close stations seem to come in fine.
