My Pembroke Corgies and Yellow Lab tear up the Kong toys. These last long enough for them to have a few months of tug of war along and complete mayhe
Pros: A lot of playtime and complete mayhem for the pups
Cons: No they don't last forever, but long enough for a lot of laughs
