Polk Monitor 70 II...Great speakers with an unbelievable price!
One of the two speakers I ordered came in damaged. Polk was very courteous and fast about getting me a new speaker. They sent me a drop off tag for Fed Ex and put a new one in the mail. I have the new speaker and they sound fantastic! My first pair of "Real" speakers that I ever owned were Polk Audio Monitor 5 B's. I loved them, They were small but had one of the best sounds I had ever heard. I had some buddy's that could afford the Monitor 10's. Those speakers rocked. Fast forward 30 years and I just bought bigger and better Polk Audio's for less than I paid for my Monitor 5"s in the 1980's. These speaker give perfect timber to George Straight's incredible voice, and they will rock the house when I play some "Kiss" Psycho Circus. You might find better speakers, but be willing to pay 4 or 5 times as much! Love 'em
