The only Roku Model with Dolby Audio over optical connection
8 of 8 found this helpful Great option if you have an older A/V receiver without HDMI inputs and want to enjoy Dolby Digital sound from Netfilx, HBO, Starz, etc. This is in fact the only Roku model that has optical SPDIF output that you can use to connect to your older receiver. Despite being almost 4 years old it performs very well. Recommended.
