A great, complicated love story and much more!
2 of 2 found this helpful I'd read the book first when I saw it when it became a mini series. I was skeptical that it would be like the book, but it was! Loved the setting in Austrailia and all the intricacies of the catholic faith & I'm not Catholic. Very human story. Love it that it's out on DVD.

2 great actors in early years of their careers.showed what was yet to come!
3 of 3 found this helpful I watched this mini series when it first came out on TV. I loved the two main characters and how they developed the story line. I've wanted to own this for years. When I learned I was to have surgery, I decided it was time to buy the series to help me with the down time that would naturally occur. It doesn't have all the sound effects,etc of today. If you like a great story line..I think you would enjoy this.

These are excellent cookies. I bought them online because I didn't think I could find them locally. Turned out not to be true..found them locally for half the price
