Perfect for casual user, even professionals will like it
Great add on for the iPhone. Small, good resolution, and no battery, perfect for the casual user. Waterproof case is pretty snappy, though I would like a lens cap since it is convenient enough and sturdy enough to leave it on the phone. It does pull power from the phone, but I haven't seen a noticeable impact to battery life. I am glad I went for this instead of the FLIR offering, much more portable and one less battery to maintain.
Great for visualizing heat escape through walls or windows, dampness or leaks...you can even see and measure the different temperatures across a plate of food coming out of the microwave! (I was surprised how much you have to stir mashed potatoes to get them to be the *same temperature* throughout)
The exposure adjustment can visualize detail down to some fraction of a degree, and it lines up well with my non-contact thermometer and probe thermometer. All in all, incredibly impressive piece of technology.

Good add-on for tablets, but a little dated
I use this as a webcam for my Surface, to allow me to use it as a sketch tablet on my desk while keeping my face in the frame of a video call. The only disappointment is that the picture quality and white balance is substantially lower quality than the built-in cameras. The macro lens works, and the light only works in macro mode (not a flash). It’s USB-A is also dated, so need an adapter to work with most new hardware. It would have been nice if tue button was able to rotate the image 90-degrees instead of just flipping the image 180 . Otherwise, it does the job I got it for well, it is light and easy to carry unlike most external webcams, and quite affordable.
