Product Works Well But Was Not New As Described in Offer

This thermostat met our needs, i.e., it works for our bathroom floor heat system. However, when purchasing, it was described as brand new. When we received it, the packaging had obviously already been opened (torn plastic on the bottom and cardboard backing was reattached to the front plastic. I don't mind purchasing returned products if assured they work but I don't like being misled about new vs. returned and resold merchandise.

Will Not Stay Attached to the Button Clasp

I really thought this would be the right lanyard since it had the Garmin name in the title. Unfortunately, although it is easy to attach, it is also easy to disconnect. So much so that if I lean forward with it around my neck, if it touches the inside of my coat it disconnects from the lanyard. I cannot use this item as I fear I will lose my Garmin device.
