Just the right amount of shade.
The shade works perfectly for our application on the outside of the window to block the low afternoon sun out. We like that it is somewhat see through so doesn't make it a complete dungeon inside. The crank winder works well and the shade looks nice up or down. I was worried about what it would do it the wind but there has been no problem there possibly because it is porous.

Not a direct replacement
Did not fit my GE Washer as stated. I had to drill a mounting hole in back panel. Also, the body of the valve leaked and I had to take it out again to lube and tighten an o-ring fitting.
