THE bass drum mic......................AKG D112 MK11
2 of 2 found this helpful CLEAN! POWERFUL! CLEAR! NO DISTORTION, EVEN AT CRANKED LEVELS! I recently heard a band in concert. The drummer's bass drum sounded phenomenal!!!!! He was using THIS mic on his bass drum. The sound man said this is the only mic he will use on a bass drum. Sold!!!!!
