Great movie, pretty good cast!
I decided to purchase this movie because I belong to a sorority and many of my friends have spoken highly about the film. I also knew this was a semi-important piece of work to have in my dvd collection because it is a Spike Lee movie and all of his films have socially-conscious messages. I must say I am not a huge fan of Mr. Lee's work; however, i loved the music in this film. I also liked the authenticity of the plot and the acting...it is quite relevant, even today, although the film is about 15 years old! If you are a member of one of the divine nine groups, have attended a historically black college/university, or know people who are members of these groups, this will not only give you a greater appreciation of this groups, it will help you understand/embrace some of the stereotypes....or it might just turn you off all together! lol..check it out!

Beautiful picture and awesome sound!
Sharp graphics, great sound and a variety of settings for sound, picture and external hook up including hdmi. We use this tv in our room and we are mesmerized by the picture quality. I will definitely be getting a bigger LG when we pass this one along to the kids. I bought it, but I'm sold on LG!
