Easy to install and easy to use
We're very satisfied with this purchase. The item arrived timely and packaged well. As advertised, was in like new condition. The thermostat was easy to install and works great.
In fact, my wife likes it so much, she asked me to order another one to install in our family room.

ORBIT Watermaster 4 Station Sprinkler Timer
I had no desire to buy an expensive digital, back lit, rain sensor unit with a 100 page instruction manual, so I purchased this to replace an identical unit that we had owned for over a decade. It's easy to operate and is very affordable.
This is a simple to operate sprinkler timer and takes just a few minutes to program. In case of a temporary power outage, it has a battery back-up that retains your settings and continues to water your lawn - even without power.
About the only time I change the settings is when it rains (I turn it off), which is not too often here in Southern California, or when I shorten the watering time during the cooler months.
Easily program it for up to 3 different watering times a day. Watering days can be selected where drought restrictions for watering times / days are mandatory.
If this lasts at least 10 years (like my previous one), it will cost me about $2 per year to own this timer. I'd say that's quite affordable and money well spent.......
