Why buy a new motor?
We own a Vacuflo 960. When the brushes failed, I checked online to see where I could buy new brushes and was greeted with the admonition to buy new motors instead. The 960 has twin motors, so cost to replace them would exceed $300, which made no sense to me. Secure in the knowledge that the motors are a simple (yet precision) item, and owning the proper equipment, I chose to turn the armatures, replace the bearings and install new brushes. The brushes appear to be identical to those that were contained in the original motors, and were dead easy to install. For less than $25 per motor, we now have what is, for all practical purposes, a new 960.
Yeah! I endorse these brushes gladly.

Best trickle charger on the market
I own five of these little jewels. Much cheaper than replacing lead acid batteries, and keep them fully topped up without overcharging. I recommend them highly.
