Great Soldering Iron for the Price
1 of 1 found this helpful I liked mine so much that I recommended it to the 50 members in my Lapidary Club. We make jewelry using the Tiffany Method.

I Recommend using Insulfrogs but you may have to tinker with them
If you're running DC Insulfrogs work fine. They also works fine for some DCC locomotives such as those with a long wheelbase. But those with a short-base locos may have a hard time making it across the frogs others will just short-out.and stop. You can wire them to avoid this problem but if that's the case, you may as well get Electrofrogs. I still prefer Insulfrogs because my DCC locos work because I tinker with the rails and use glue near the frog points, where the shorts always occur. There's a lot of information on the web about how to make turnouts work better. You may want to read a few articles before deciding what to buy.
