Brenda Russell is a truly unique and truly distinctive artist.
"Get Here" was Brenda Russell's most popular and most successful album ever. Both the title track and "Piano In The dark" were huge hits and this CD is eminently enjoyable. The jazzy and languid ballad "Le Restaurant" and the mid-tempo dance numbers "Midnight Eyes", "Gravity" and "Just A Believer" all add contrast and variety to one of 1988's most unique albums. Brenda Russell is a truly superb singer and songwriter but she is also truly underrated and deserves greater recognition. Enjoy!

A fine compilation of romantic ballads from The O'Jays.
This fine compilation includes both well-known classics "Loving You", "Use Ta Be My Girl", "Cry Together", "Just Another Lonely Night", "Emotionally Yours", "Serious Hold On Me", etc.) as well as some album-only tracks that were never released as singles. While by no means a definitive collection, this is a CD that any serious fan of The O'Jays will surely enjoy.

The O'Jays at their very best.
This classic compilation of The O'Jays' big 1972-1976 hits features such timeless classics like "Back Stabbers", "For The Love Of Money", "Sunshine", "Survival", "I Love Music", "Family Reunion" and many others. The sound quality is incredibly good and all 14 tunes are classic examples of the best that the Philly Soul scene had to offer back in the day.
