COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK
1 of 1 found this helpful The item appears to be of good construction. However, a fully operational Toshiba notebook computer equipped with PCMCIA sockets, and running 32 bit Windows 98 would not recognize the card adapter, and it could not be made to function.

BEST COFFEE GRINDER EVER!
A number of similar products have been tried during the past few years, and we believe the MIRA ELECTRIC SPICE AND COFFEE GRINDER is absolutely the BEST of all! It features the power required to grind the toughest of nuts and spices, and makes it easy to obtain the perfect ground coffee consistency in just seconds. The power cord winds in the base, and can be adjusted to the necessary length. Best of all, the stainless steel canister is removable to allow for extremely easy cleaning. This makes it impossible to accidentally immerse the motor and other internal components in water. The clear plastic lid is even designed so that any residue that's left after use, is on only the inside top surface, and can be quickly wiped away using a damp cloth. With other grinders, it was necessary to take the entire appliances to the sink for cleanup, and the lids were literally inundated with grounds, making it necessary to also wash them out. A handy little brush is provided in the retail package, but cleaning is so quick and simple that it's not really needed. The MIRA has a powerful motor which consumes up to 250 watts under load, so it can heat up if it's operated for an excessively long time, and some reviews have noted that the unit gets "hot." The concise instructions advise that it not be run for more than twenty seconds during any grinding cycle. We've determined that the appliance works so fast - at least with coffee beans - that a fine grind is produced in only half that time. This is one of the few home products that we are completely satisfied with; we're so delighted, that we've even purchased another one as a gift for a coffee-loving friend. It isn't often that a small appliance deserves all "pros" and no "cons." The MIRA ELECTRIC SPICE AND COFFEE GRINDER definitely does!
