Many times the pocket molded into this are damaged by a prior owner. VERY easy fix.

Factory paint, easy for stone chips, nicks and scratches.
prepare the surface:
clean dry ,50% humidity
shake well, shake often
i use press needle valve to a toothpick, providing the best surface coverage to the body from the toothpick.
Many smaller dots of paint is far easier to control than trying to spot the dot directly. Week later, wet sand and re-wax and enjoy!
Keep paint pen indoors in stable environ.
