Dependable Single Band Router
I like the webpage based admin screen; it lets you set just about anything about the router.
I have the router in one room, and a laptop two rooms away, and the signal strength to the laptop is very good, (93%).
And, the thing looks good sitting on my desk. (I like the white case.)
It is a single band router, though, (2.4 GHz). Newer routers give you two bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz. This one doesn't; that's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.
Oh, and the admin screen times out in just three minutes, unless you Save, or change screens. You can loose settings your working on, but haven't saved yet. That's annoying.

Second one I've bought
This is the second one of these I've bought. I put the first one in the kitchen, replacing a different brand that often gave us false alerts. This brand doesn't give us false alerts. I put this one in the hall near the bathroom, replacing another one that the shower set off. This one doesn't give us false alerts there, either. We can live life in quiet!
The only reason I don't give these five stars is that the mounting holes in the bracket are miss-aligned; you have to cock your alignment five or ten degrees to one side to get the detector to look aligned with the walls of the room.

Easy user interface
I'm impressed. The web page user interface is much easier to use than the one the DIR-615 had. And the router has two Wi-Fi networks, (I'm using the faster one for the laptop, and the slower one for the phones). And two more, if you want them, for guests. All password protected.
Two disappointments: when you make a network invisible, you can't connect to it. That may be a bug. And, I haven't found a way to limit devices to only the MAC addresses you specify, like you could with the DIR-615.
