Hamilton Beach 2 Pound Bread Machine
2 of 2 found this helpful I do like this bread maker and have already put it through it's paces by making all sorts of bread. While it certainly does have a lot of settings. ( 12) i find that it's a bit overkill for me. Ninety percent of the time i'm using #1 setting. Found that this setting gives me the best end results.. with a good rest time for the dough and adequate 2nd kneading time. And as long as a good quality yeast is used you will get good results.. Bread machines take longer to bake a loaf. But that can be good. By not heating up your kitchen like a oven would.. But , you can make just dough, and freeze it. to take out and thaw for baking in pans. in an oven.. ( cold winter days)... the one thing that is a pet peeve with this machine is cleaning what has fallen into the well of it that houses the machine's bread pan. I have to turn it upside down . so the debris from baking falls out.. very awkward to do this. Since you have to get around the exposed heating element. ( rod type).. And as long as it sits on a solid flat surface, the rubber feet keep it from walking. as it throws the dough around inside.. It is very tall / large and can eat up counter space in small kitchens. But, for your dollar spent on this machine, i'd place it in the "Value" catagorey ... it does what it's supposed to do. !

personal mess kit
i bought this mess kit to add to some camping gear. It is very light and flimsy. metal is very thin. not of good quality. would i go out and buy another? ...i'm afraid my answer is no i would not. metal needs to bed of thicker gauge.
