It arrived exactly as show in the photo. It appears to be of OEM quality. Maybe the blue light is too bright
Okay had a little time to us these items. EVERY WORKS GREAT. The only drawback is the blue light on the car lighter adapter is B-R-I-G-H-T at night. so bright in fact it is distracting depending on the angle of your 12 volt lighter port on your dash. if your lighter port is out of sight from the drivers compartment then you are fine.

The one improvement would be 2 2.0 amp USB ports on the cigarette lighter adapter to rapid charge both my wife's phone and mine at the same time but it was clearly stated that both ports were not 2.0 amp. So no complaints.

Direct replacement in less than 5 minutes
Grabbed my spring clip fliers pulled the first clip after pulling off the blue rubber cap. Pulled the second spring clip. Replaced the inner lock. The only thing that was a little miss fit was the new blue cap didn't go on so well (probably needed to be forced on more) so I used the old one. That was okay because the ladder still looks original with the old blue cap.
