IGNITION COIL / MAGNETO for Lawn-Boy 580184 fits A & C Series Iron Horse

They fit & work

What can I say - its hard to find a magneto for a 1961 Lawn Boy 18" mower, but these seem to be as good as any genuine OMC part I've ever had, and they are cheaper. They fit, the wires are right, and they work. I had 2 mowers whose mags had failed, and they both run fine now. We'll see how long they last. I'd recommend replacing the spark plug wire at the same time. I filed the points and regapped them, and reused the capacitor with no issues.
