The book is a highly-ignored reality!
Being prepared for emergencies is the point of this book, and its made slowly and poignantly. Emergencies arise from layoffs, fires, hurricanes, and in this book, from a EMP bombs delivered to the USA. Nothing with computer chips, or indeed, a motor will work, and the entire nation is at a dark-ages standstill! The book raises the question: What do I have to survive? The book lays out how folks contend with lacks of all sorts, including Law. The premise is very thought-provoking, and should not be taken as sci-fi. The bomb exists now. 'We' are one second before.... The time to stock up for an emergency is before it happens, and that time is ...now.

DIRECTIONS: 1) Depending on the season, prepare either a refreshing, ice-cube jingling glass of cold sweet tea, or a calming cup of hot tea, and situate yourself in a comfy spot, preferably in the gentle light of a sunny window. 2) Following your first beverage sip, open this not-especially-weighty, nicely-sized book, prepared for a prolonged visit with various members of Southern society, especially church ladies. 3) Be sure to read each very informative narrative before, in-between, and/or after recipes; this step will enhance the heartwarming enjoyment of the dish at hand. 4) Bear in mind any health issues you may have, because indulging in most, if not all, of these made-with-pride, eagerly-awaited-and-expected, specially-reserved-for-funerals-only, fatally rich concoctions could kill the unsuspecting reception visitor.
NOTE: Buy more than one copy; one for you, one or more for others you love! This is a hidden treasure to be sure!

Heaven, better by far
This book is the very BEST book I have ever read about life in heaven. The author is a well-known, trusted theologian and the book's question/answer format is quite to the point and based on Scriptures from the bible, and NOT supposition from the author's head. The book is short, quick to read, comfortingly informative and one which I tend to read each nite before sleep. It replaces the difficult details of the day with hopeful and pleasant thoughts of that special time in ETERNITY! : )
By all means, get a copy of this small but important book.
