Genuine or Not? -- Yea, probably Not
15 of 19 found this helpful *NOTE: This review is NOT for the Mobilitee battery, it was written for a 'genuine' Samsung battery. The Mobilitee one seems good so far. Edit: After using the Mobilitee battery for a few months I can confirm it is a very good battery*
I fitted this new battery and did a full re-calibration to ensure it took a full charge. In use, it seems to be worse than my 4 year old original battery.
It claims to be NFC capable, but doesn't appear to actually work with NFC devices, so I suspect that's just printed on the battery to make it look more genuine.
As a cheap spare battery its ok, but if you want long life don't buy one.

X-Fi Continues Creative's Reign.
I've used Creative's Sound Blaster range of cards from the year dot, way back in the days of the AWE32 and AWE64 gold. The reason I have stuck with the Sound Blaster range of cards is simple:- Sound Quality and Ease of Use.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Platinum continues that heritage. Installation is simple, and you will soon be listening to very high quality sound. But please, if your going to buy one of these cards, dont use the cheap speakers that came with your system, As that will result in you wasting your money. A good set of speakers is a must if your buying this top quality sound card.
The X-Fi Xtreme Audio has one of the worlds fastest Audio processing units, so your movies and games will run smoother than ever, and with its 7.1 surround sound capabilities it will pull you in to the game/movie and make you feel like your actually there.
The X-Fi Xtreme Audio also has an excellent feature where it can bring the world of surround sound to your stereo headphones... Gaming at night will never be the same again!
A downside to this card is the connections for the surround sound speakers. While most surround sound cards use 4 3.5mm jack sockets, Creative in their infinite wisdom have used 3 3.5mm sockets in a multi I/O configuration.
This card also has full digital I/O capabilities on board, and when used in conjunction with an X-Fi I/O Drive Bay (highly recomended if your into music) gives you handy front panel access to connections such as Headphones, Line in , Mic in, MIDI I/O and Digital I/O.
I'm happy to report that the X-Fi Xtreme Audio continues Creative's reign over the the PC audio market. Oops! I nearly forgot to mention the MIDI Synth that is built onto this card, which sounds great as standard, but can also be fully customised as it uses .sf2 soundfont banks and Vienna Soundfont studio is included on the installation disc so tayloring the MIDI synth to your needs could not be easier.
I rate this card as sound quality is important to me, but hey, if your not bothered about sound quality you may as well just get a real cheap card and save your money!

Easy to Setup and Use
5 of 5 found this helpful I got fed up, I was spending loads of money on cat food, only for numerous neighbourhood cats to help themselves (caught on camera). I tried scaring them off with noise and spraying water on them but it didn't help.
I looked at microchip cat feeders, but those were beyond my budget. Then I saw this selective entry 'Sureflap' microchip cat flap and it has solved the problem.
It also makes Mogwai (my cat) feel more secure and relaxed knowing that no other cats can get in.
Caution: Be sure to get a genuine Sureflap one, there are many sellers that use sureflap in the title, but actually sell you a different cat flap. (Check against my pictures)
Fitting in place of an existing cat flap is pretty simple, in most cases only needing a basic screwdriver. Most people will have no problems at all. In my case, the existing hole in the door was just slightly too tight and needed adjustment. I used a small sanding wheel in my electric drill and it was fitted in moments.
To fit where there is no existing hole will require tools, but is still not a major job. Any half competent DIY'er will be able to fit it easily.
Importantly, do not ever file, drill or cut the cat flap's tunnel section to make it fit. The coil that actually detects and reads the microchip is embedded into the tunnel and if damaged will render the cat flap useless.
Lastly, as an electronics engineer, I would recommend using good quality alkaline batteries. They will give you good lifespan and stand less chance of leaking and destroying the electronics inside the Sureflap.
