Face it: You'll buy it
1 of 1 found this helpful This three-disc set has no actual Kiss music by the members themselves, but it has Kiss' name on it, so you'll buy it anyway.
Disc One consists of songs by other artists featuring current and former members of Kiss. Don't get too excited: It has a few songs featuring Gene Simmons and one with Ace Frehley, but most the rest of the disc features the likes of Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent and Eric Singer.
Disc Two is the highlight in my book, consisting of some inspired covers of Kiss klassics by bands few have ever heard of. Want to hear Mystic Force's take on "Love Gun" or Last Pharaoh cover "I Was Made for Loving You"? Listen before you answer. Their versions are better than I expected.
Disc Three consists of artists that influenced Kiss, as well as songs covered by the band individually or collectively. This compilation is worth the price just for the original of "New York Groove" by Hello.
But like I said: You'll buy anything Kiss-related, so go ahead and make the plunge. Why are you reading this anyway?

A decent overview of the Fleetwood Mac songs you’ve heard hundreds of times, plus two excellent previously unreleased ones. Docking one star because this should have been a double LP as it omits several songs from the CD release.
