Another WAHL for me ...
2 of 2 found this helpful A simple, heart felt endorsement may be all that is needed. I have had a beard since 1976 ... that's forty years. I have had one or another WAHL product in my medicine cabinet all that time. I have never been unhappy with the function or the value of any WAHL product. The truth is I have worn out more than a few of them. I just go out and get another one. I wear a full beard and mustache but I keep them "reasonably short". This little shaver is balanced in the hand, without the guide it shaves nice and close on my neck, and with the guide gives me exactly the look I want. It is one of the better units I have had for trimming my upper lip. The charges lasts a very long time and it recharges very quickly. Were I to make a suggestion as to how to improve it, I wish it had a lamp of some kind that would illuminate the area just in front of the blade. I guess there are just a lot of shadows in my bathroom and that light would help my tired senior citizen eyes see what I am doing.
Otherwise, thanks WAHL. I have enjoyed your products, and replacement parts too, for many years and I have no intention of changing now. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I will confess up front that I did not buy this wick in order to use it right away. I bought it to be a backup. Eventually, the current wick will see the end of its days and I want a new one on hand when it does. Having said that, the one I just purchased is identical to the one that is in the heater now. It is great. No problems. It is actually lasting longer than I thought it would. So ... would I recommend this wick to someone else? Sure. That's why I bought another one.

Very good for what it is ...
I think that if I were to need a tool like this on a fairly regular basis, I would want a better one. Handles are handles, I guess, but I am not so sure that the blade is of really high quality. It just doesn't hold an edge very long. But, it solved the immediate problem I had, and I may find some use for it in the future. So, I'll give it a 4 based mostly on utility for the dollar on the short run. If it turns out that I never use it again, I won't be out very much.
